feeling sick all over again

i've been sick for these past few days. didn't go to class on monday and tuesday. but yesterday, i did go to class. it was great! i miss my friends. the only problem was my cough and flu. damn! they are troublesome. i hate being sick :) anyway, Merry Chritsmas to everyone!

I woke up at 7 in the morning yesterday. did nothing. went back to sleep. woke up at 12pm. took my bath. put my clothes on. starts the engine and picked him up and went to The Curve. walked around for a bit. bought him a birthday present. bought a treat for myself also, a bag. decided to go to starbucks at giant, kelana jaya. chilled for a bit. then went back home. waited for my dad. then picked mum at her office and went to klcc for dinner and to find a present. wanted to eat THAI CRUNCH SALAD but they don't have any. WTF? whatver. mum sponsored the present. now im at home. what a life.

Things happen for a reason

I had enough. Seriously. I lost my patience already. well things happen for a reason. i guess it happen just so she knows how i felt. I was really sad. I've been keeping quite all these while, i guess i had enough. can't she see that she is hurting other people? how did it happen? why did she became who she is? argh! it kills me not speaking to her. it is not like i hate her. i love her to death. she is like my sister. but i really hope she understand why i said those things to her. if she would not do anything about it then i can't really do anything. i've been trying to talk to her these past few days but she is avoiding me. i wonder why she acting that way, where else im the one who should be upset 'cause she hurts my feelings. but whatever, i hope we can talk soon. i hate fighting with friends. i don't hate u, i love u, you are best friend. i guess we need more time. LATER~

HELP ME FIND MR. SALIM / JIM NATO!!

Hello everyone. I have a mission! I’m on a mission to help my family trace a long lost family member by the name, Mr. Salim Bin Meh/Ismail. He should be in his late 60’s or early 70’s. Enclosed picture is a photo of my grand uncle, Mr. Salim (on the right in sarong). Mr. Salim was born, Jimmy or Jim Nato, a Nepalese who was brought by the British Army to Butterworth, Penang when he was young in secondary school age. He studied at Saint Marks School and became a good friend of my late grand uncle, Haji Johari bin Meh. During that time, Mr. Salim was under the care of the Saint Marks headmaster. Having spent a lot of time with my late grand uncle and the family as well as being accepted and loved as a family member, Mr. Salim embraced Islam and took his Muslim name, Salim Bin Meh/Ismail. He stayed with his adopted parents and family until he decided to leave for England and worked himself as a sailor. My grandma, Hajjah Non Ismail, (Maktok) is his elder sister. Mr. Salim met the family on a few occasions until he got married and have a family of his own in England. He married a Malaysian Chinese lady and blessed with two beautiful girls then.

In 1984 (I was not born yet), my late grandfather, Haji Ismail bin Haji Awang, my mum, Normah binti Ismail and my cousin, Marcilla went to London as one of our late granduncles, Ahmad had passed away. Through friends in London, my mother and my late grandfather met Mr. Salim and his family. Mrs. Salim was working as a nurse, in one of the hospitals in London. Her family is from Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately, my mum didn’t get her family’s address in Kuala Lumpur.

A few years ago, a friend of Mr. Salim and late grand uncle (Ahmad) visited my grandma in Petaling Jaya. His name was Akmal. He told my grandma that Mr. Salim and family had left London for Australia. Mr. Akmal sadly, had passed away after returning from Kuala Lumpur. My grandma and grandaunt, Hajjah Zainab, wife of Haji Johari had been talking and asking us (mum and I) to trace Mr. Salim and family. My grandma even said that she kept thinking about him for these past few weeks.

We hope someone out there will be able to help us start the link for my 80 year old grandma. She is hoping very much to meet Mr. Salim and family again.

Okay I lied, I can't sleep okay! I WANT THIS NOKIA 5800 EXPRESS MUSIC!!! Can anyone get me this for a christmas gift? Even though I don't celebrate christmas, I do deserve to get a gift since I've been a good and obedient child *yeah right* I WANT! :)

I did nothing at home. Picked up my mum and headed to KLCC. She bought some chocolates at Patchi for her friend, I think, yeah, and I manage to score a box of chocolates :) *Yay!* Then we headed to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. I love eating there; good food + nice view of the water fountains. *nuff said* we love their Thai Crunch Salad. It has grilled chicken, cabbage, onions, cucumbers, peanuts, crispy wontons, and not forgetting the crispy rice sticks. I think the dressing is made of this deliciously peanut dressing. The salad it so crunchy and nice. I love it! I had Fettuccine with Garlic Cream Sauce and mum had Spaghetti with White Sauce. We didn’t ask for pizza since it’s just the two of us. For appetizers, mum asked for Avocado Club Egg Rolls. It’s good but I would recommend their Spinach Artichoke Dip! It comes with tortilla chips. Eat it while it’s hot *damn* mouth watering! It made my day, hanging out with my mother. I was bored to death at home :)

Mum woke me up early this morning. We went to Petaling Street to find this specific fabric for my baju kurung, mum had asked me earlier to bring along an example of the fabric *dang* being me, I FORGOT. Luckily, she’s in a good mood and didn’t scream at me :) Parked at Central Market and walked towards the shop which located next to Kotaraya. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there; I used to go to Petaling Street and Kotaraya to find my things. In Kotaraya for instance, I used to get a lot of my Naruto things there. Ahhh those were the days. Miss them! Anyway, it took us quite awhile to find the best and maroon color fabric. *Faz’s brother is getting married on the 3^rd of January and their theme color for the wedding is maroon/cream, that is why my mum and I were on this kain-hunting* Well, we manage to buy the perfect material but we also bought another 10 kain-s which were not in the MUST list. *ehhehe* Thanks mum! I love you always! After that, we went straight to LCCT to pick up Dad. He went to Chiang Mai for work. Then, went straight to Shah Alam and gave the kain-s to our tailor. Enough about that, I would like to take this opportunity to wish my friend, Alifah who got engaged today, ‘Congratulation on your engagement day! One down, four to go!’ I’m not included because well-you-know *ehhehe* Semoga berbahagia selalu! Anyway, I need some sleep and I want to go somewhere for holiday! WHERE? WHEN? HOW? WHO? WHAT? Wedding

Happy anniversary to Mum and Dad! :) May both of you are blessed with more happiness to come! Love you both! Mum, Kate and I went to Veronica's brother wedding just now at MBPJ Dewan civic. This is the first time I'm attenting an Indian wedding ceremony. It was great. Veron is so beautiful :) There were many beautiful ladies in their saris. Damn, the saris are nice okay. So pretty! The food was nice too. The bride sang a song for the groom. Well, it was a happy occasion, I had fun! I wish them a happy marriage and many happiness to come! Anyway, I'm tired, wanna read Naruto and then dooze off to sleep. Later people~

A super human heart beats in me

I'm on holiday. Finally exams are over and I'm enjoying the days as it goes by. I have to say its a start of a wonderful holiday. A friend of mine who we haven't contacted for the past 2 years due to some circumstances, had finally come around and things are back to normal. I cried when I read his message. It's good to be like we used to. Losing a best friend kills apart of you. I know this before that we have so much in common. We used to like the same songs, and we even think quite in the same way. Even when we were apart, I've learned that we have so much in common. For instance I'm into photography and so is he. Just now, we chatted for awhile as I was reading Naruto Manga. Guess what, he reading it too. It is weird but in a good way. He is like a guy version of me. I still remember the first time I'd chatted with him. I called him "otak sama" meaning 'same brain'. When we were apart, it was like a living hell, like I said before, losing a best friend kills apart of you. I've known him since I was 15. Then something happened that made us apart. It was weird though, the whole 2 years, I do hang around near his place but we didn't even bump into each other. I guess its fate. It's fate that we didn't have a chance to meet. I knew I would cry in front of everyone if I met him then. *LOL* Nevertheless, I am damn happy that we finally reconcile. Looking forward to see him and his girlfriend soon :) I'm so happy! Karaoke Session

Greetings! Just a quick update. I'm currently on a one week break. 3 papers are done, 2 more papers to go. On next Sunday, will be Malaysia & Singapore Literature and on Monday, the last paper will be on Islamic Ethics *wuu, ehehe*. Enough about that, today I went out with Akmal, Efa and Anem. They went to Masjid Jamek - Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman first, to find Efa's engagement dress and I, on the other hand decided to join them later in Sg.Wang. We had Teppanyaki for lunch *nyum* and I've been wanting to eat Crepe, chicken and cheese. *sedapnya!* But then, we decided to sing our lungs out. So we had a karaoke session. Green box is like a baby sister to Red box. It is located at level 6 in Sg.Wang. It is a descend place, very nice and cosy. The toilet is also clean, a plus for that. Besides that, the tidbits table is the best. *they have slusshies* Love it! Love it! It was a happy hour, so it cost about RM14 each person, but then Anem applied for their membership card and we showed our student cards, so we have to pay RM8 per person. *not bad huh?* The drinks are free flow *including the slusshies* and the tidbits. Our karaoke session starts at 5pm until 8pm. The host guy came in and told us that we can have a buffet dinner if we add RM10 per person and can extend our session till 9pm. However, we were full from the Teppanyaki and decided to skip, but the food looks good though, ahh not forgetting the dessert. Nevermind, there will be next time. I have to say, most of the songs there are the latest *it is good that they keep track of the songs* I'm sure I'll be visiting Green Box soon ;) anyway, forgot to say that, I had 2 pieces of crepes just now. Heyy! I had to fulfill my cravings if not I would not have a good night sleep ;p YUMMY! please sir, can i have some more? *ehhehe* oh, and I'm so happy to know that, there are people visiting my blog. Thank you people! Much love from me! *mwah*~ I had fun today! Tired, but fun. I didn't really shop today, I just bought a RED nail polish. *ahhaha* I wonder how I look like with red nails. I can't sleep! Tried to shut my eyes but failed. I guess its because Asuma got killed by Hidan *in Naruto Shippudden, ehhe* mind me, I'm obsessed with Naruto :) I really wanna know what is going to happen. The new episode is taking so long to download. I've been waiting for ages. AHH!!! Got to be patient. OK! Later then~

Sushi Mania

Sorry for the late entry :) I've been busy with assignments and raya celebration. Thank God everything is done. No more assignments, but *sigh* final exams is just around the corner. Anyway, last Thursday, 16.10.2008, my mum, Kate, Jaja and I were craving for sushi. The best part was 'Sushi King' made a special promotion for their membercard holders. The plates from blue to purple was only RM2. We thought that SK in Giant Kelana Jaya wouldn't be a hit, but man, we were wrong. JUST LOOK AT THEM ~

That kakak works in Sushi King, she knows me, Kate, Jaja and Farah. *It's because we are their regular customer :) *

Everyone kept asking me when am I going get married? Come on, macam tak ada soalan lain. Get a freaking life lah people. If you are so concerned about me, then sponsor my wedding and better yet find me a suitable husband. I'm still young and enjoying my freaking life. okay, get a life! Best Ribs in Town

On the 4th of September there was a review on Tony Roma’s restaurant in ‘The Sun’ if I’m not mistaken which makes my mouth watery since we are fasting for Ramadan. Being a food junkie, I have been longing to wallop the delicious Tony Roma's ribs since the last time my cousin had brought me there. At that time I had the Roma Burger. Anyway, here is a brief history on the restaurant. The famous Tony Roma’s started out back in 1972 in North Miami, United States, when Tony opened his first place. It started out in one weekend when Tony threw some Baby Back Ribs (Pork) on the grill and the rest is history. Tony Roma's can now be found all over the world. There are nearly 200 restaurants in 32 countries and now they are in Malaysia. (Don’t worry; Malaysia Tony Roma's outlets are pork-free which means there are no Baby Back Ribs here)

For starters, my mum and I had ‘Tony’s Potato Skin’ which is very delicious *yummy*. We also had Tony's Asian Salad topped with grilled salmon *double yum yum* I have asked for their famous ‘Bountiful Beef Ribs’ with a glass of coke, which is bottomless refill and only cost you RM6.90. The ribs were RM68.90 which is served in a full rack (5 pieces of ribs), however if you want to have a small portion of the ribs (3 pieces of the ribs) then asked for Roma rack, which will cost you RM46.90 only. Mum had steak, but I have forgotten the name *sorry* it comes with side dishes as well, mum asked for rice and broccoli. The rice is nice, very tasty!


When my food arrived, the sweet smell of the barbeque sauce from the ribs was blissful. The ribs were well done and it comes with a generously big portion. I really enjoyed eating the tasty and juicy meat as it was soft and tender. It was so tender that it just rips of from the bone. My taste buds were rousing. The ribs were also served with side items like coleslaw and French fries. You can choose any other side items as well. The taste of the ribs was out of this world. This is the best ribs that I have eaten so far. Two thumbs up to Tony Roma. To complete our meal, we had a scrumptious ‘Apple Crisp a la Mode’. It is a delicious apples baked with a granola topping with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel topping. It is a complete meal fit for a king.

Bountiful Beef Ribs

Even though, the price may seem quite expensive but trust me, satisfaction guaranteed. It is worth to spend our money on good food because by the end of the day what we consume that matters. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a mouth-watering experience. This is just my opinion, the rest it is up to you. Nevertheless, I am sure that I will go there again to fill up my empty tummy.

Sorry for the last entry. I was very emotional at that time. I guess because everything happened very fast that it breaks me down. Just a quick update, here goes;

• Kak sha is getting better *Alhamdulillah, keep praying for her*
• Yasmin is so adorable; she is so cute and so small. Love her!
• I’m entering this photography contest focusing on the life style in KL. *hope my photo is selected, I’m working hard snapping and portraying the beautiful pictures of KLians*
• Mum is freaking out, including me. So many things to be done for abang’s wedding.
• My birthday is in 2 days; well I guess no celebration this year since we are busy with my brother’s wedding. *never mind there will be next year*
• Farah is leaving us just around the conner. I’m sure gonna miss her :’(
• I quit being a head for special task because I have my responsibilities for abang’s wedding and helping mum since we don’t have many committee members *hehhe*

SAD!

Irdina Yasmin 25.06.08

Kak Sha my cousin delivered her first baby on 25.6.08. A baby girl was born, her name is Irdina Yasmin. ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t know how to start but then both my cousin and her baby had complications. The baby’s lungs were a bit swollen and oxygen cannot get through her brain. However thank God she is release today and I think after six month she will undergo an operation for her lungs. *sigh* now it’s about my cousin. Damn I just want to scream and cry! Lepas kak sha delivered her baby at Bagan Specialist; she had to operate since the baby is too big to keluar normally. After that, she continued bleeding. Blood bank pulak tak cukup dekat hospital tu. *haish* Then she was transferred to Seberang Jaya Hospital. Dia ada trouble with the blood to beku. Tak cukup darah putih or something, I don’t know la. Then after doc check, her ovary was bleeding. In order to safe her life is to buang the ovary and her ovum (rahim) as well. Kak sha tak boleh ada baby dah lepas ni. SEDIH nya seriously. Its not over yet, she was in koma after her second operation. I went back to penang but just for one day on Friday tu 27.6.08. SAD SAD! I’d never in my life tengok kak sha sakit. Terlantar atas katil dalam ICU. At first masa I masuk tu, kak sha tak sedar lagi. I was in tears tak tahan. So I quickly keluar. But later in the evening, dia sedar. SEDIH! Jumpa kak sha sekejap, she cannot talk sebab her tekak damn kering because of the oxygen and the operation kan. So tak leh minum air. The saddest part is that she didn’t have the chance to see or hold her baby. Nasib baik abang yus (her husband) ada ambik gambar baby and cepat-cepat pegi cuci and make copies for her to see. Kak sha hold the picture close to her heart. It was the saddest thing man. For a mother tak boleh nak pegang anak sendiri. Kak sha tengok gambar baby and pointed at me sebab mata baby sepet like my eyes. SEDIH! Dugaan betul. AND TODAY AKU SEDIH LA SERIOUSLY SEDIH. ISK. SHE IS STILL IN ICU. SEMALAM doc buat catscan KAK SHA ADA BLOOD clod kat kepala dia. SHE HAD MILD STROCK AND NOW SHE IS IN COMA AGAIN! AKU NAK MATI AH DENGAR! Aku nak balik tak dapat sbb mak ckp ahad dah nak register isnin aku ada kelas. AKU NAK BALIK!! AKU NAK TGK KAK SHA! AKU NAK PEGANG KAK SHA! AKU NAK BAGI DIA SEMANAGAT AKU SEDIH TGK AYAH CHAT DGN ABG YUS. AYAH CHAT MACAM LOST SEBAB ANAK DIA SAKIT MCM TU. Kak Sha's Baby - 25.6.08

Good news and bad news. My cousin, Kak Sha gave birth to a baby girl *not sure about the baby’s name I think its Yasmine* yesterday. The baby is healthy, that is the good news, however, THE BAD NEWS IS my cousin had some complication, and her husband told my mum that she was bleeding after the operation. From Bagan Specialist she was taken to Seberang Jaya specialist. I seriously hope that she is okay. This is her first child. It is so sad to hear about that, knowing that she’s having problems and her mother is not here with her. (Her mother had passed away) I’m praying for her health, I hope she will be alright. Pity her father and her husband, not forgetting the baby *AHH* that’s what makes me scared of getting married and having kids. There are so many things to be considered. Lets not talk about that *ehe* Anyway tomorrow, my mother, my grandmother and I, are going back to Penang to see her and her baby. I HOPE EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY!

Ahhh HAPPY HOLIDAY FOR ME! though I only have like 2 weeks before the new semester starts. So I got to spend my holiday wisely. By that it means I'll be sleeping most of the time : ) My friends and I have been planning our holiday trip to Malacca. We were supposed to go next week but sadly we had to cancel the trip because my friend needs to pack her things to move into her new house. It's okay, there are other times. I hope. Well atleast I can lend a helping hand for my friend. Actually I'm excited that she is moving. I can finally jump into the pool and chill at her house *yay!* I'm thinking of going to Genting Highlands but it is not confirm yet. We will see. Its 4.36a.m and I still can't sleep. I went to my friend's place yesterday evening. I've been spending most of my time with my closest friends lately who I love them to death. Sadly, the amazing 4 will be left with only 3. One of my friends will be leaving Malaysia soon to continue her studies. We surely going to miss her. This is the first time one of us is leaving Malaysia *well not including holiday laah, holiday they comeback!* AHH the thought of being far away from each other and not seeing their happy faces makes me sad. We've been thick and thin together. School days are flashing back! *blank* I feel like I'm going to cry now. Its sad thiking about it but I am happy for her. Ahh I'm going to miss her! *great, MC's 'Bye Bye' song really sets the mood*

Greetings! I can't blab a lot today since I have to study for my final exam tomorrow (wish me luck!) Even though I have a personal assistant :) who is doing a great job for me but there is so many things that needs to be done but then it is not that important for him to do it *LMAO*. Well I don't exactly have a job, I'm a student and my job is to study. I wish he could help me organize my FACEBOOK! Grrr!!! Its horrible! I have like 256 requests. Glitterz at TTDI JAYA

Glitterz is on the First Floor

On last Saturday, my aunt and her family have officially opened their shop called ‘Glitterz’. They had arranged for a party for the opening of their shop in conjunction with their daughter’s birthday party; Ernis Erna (Baby). She is the youngest cousin in the family. She is so adorable. I love her like my own sister. Anyway, their shops cater for gifts as well as home decoration items, clothes like for men and women and many more. It’s basically a gift shop. It is located in TTDI JAYA. The shop lots are new, only a few shops are open including Glitterz. I’ll post some pictures so that the pictures can do the talking for me : ) Please please please do visit my aunt’s shop and support her.
